For The Win! SSC Life

Even though winning last year is an advantage, I really thought I was going to lose this time because my opponent is the valedictorian on my class, a shy sweet girl, very friendly, and one of my best friends!!! She’s Mary Christine Danganan.

But something totally different happened. I can’t believe it when they were announcing the election’s results.On the 20th day of July, I got overwhelmed knowing that with a total number of 465 votes, I, Mariella Lapid, is an official Supreme Student Council Auditor of school year 2009-2010, serving my school for the second time around.

Me, Joyce and the 2 Christines group hugged after knowing the result. I am happy but I also felt sorry for her. But on the other hand, I am now stress free!

Last July 24 is the first SSC officers meeting with SSC adviser Ma’am Let. I got more excited after knowing that the SSC will be the one organizing the Acquaintance Party this August. On the next meeting, we will be talking about it with the Principal. Of course, me and Joyce would like to have a cosplay-theme party*haha! I don’t know if they will approve it but it will kill the boredom right??

Another occasion last July 24 was my Mom’s birthday! Mom ordered Pancit and my sister bought a Red Ribbon chocolate cake*yumyum. I invited my friends Joyce and Christian. Sorry I forgot the photos. They’re on my sister’s phone. 

July 28, second SSC meeting. We talked about the socialization party and I guess my section’s theme will be a cosplay.*yippee

Anyway I also congratulate those who also won a particular position at SSC. Actually all those who won last year are also the one who won this year. Except ofcourse for the Freshmen.
